AK Safe App

Dear Parents and Guardians,

The Delta/Greely School District is committed to ensuring that every student feels safe, supported, and ready to learn. As part of this commitment, we are proud to partner with STOPit Solutions to provide the AKSafe app, a new tool designe

d to strengt

hen communication and enhance student safety across our schools.  While we always encourage students and families to speak directly with school staff about any concerns, we understand that this can sometimes feel difficult. The AKSafe app provides an additional option—allowing individuals to report concerns anonymously when needed.

The AKSafe app helps us proactively address issues such as:
· Bullying
· School safety concerns
· Self-harm
· Inappropriate or concerning behavior

With the AKSafe app, members of our school community can:
· Submit reports anonymously
· Upload photos or videos to provide additional information
· Communicate privately with school administrators through two-way messaging

This tool strengthens our ability to respond quickly and appropriately, ensuring concerns are addressed before they escalate. It is designed to complement—not
replace—the strong relationships and open communication we value in our schools. We encourage all parents and guardians to download the AKSafe app and have a
conversation with your child about when and how to use it responsibly.

The AKSafe app is available for free in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

Thank you for your continued partnership in keeping our schools safe and supportive for every student.

Sincerely,
Michael Lee
